A native of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Jean Rene directs our African Drumming ensemble. He specializes in hand percussion and mallet instruments from Africa.

Jeff is a super-versatile performer and teacher. He has experience with and can teach: jazz, rock or blues drum set;  mallets;  concert band, orchestral, and Latin percussion.
