Peter Tijerina is a trombonist, educator, arranger, and composer.

 

He received his Doctorate of Musical Arts in jazz trombone from the University of Illinois and performs regionally in central Illinois with his ten-piece jazz band.

 

He has performed with the Sidewalk Stompers, Katie Flynn Cabaret, Lansing Symphony Jazz Band, Milonga and Son Dulce latin bands, Coeur d’Alene Symphony, and Olympia Symphony Orchestra.
