David McEathron is involved in many different areas of music, including jazz, classical, and pop. Around Champaign-Urbana, David performs solo and with multiple fusion, funk, and traditional jazz groups. 

He enjoys communicating and exploring music with students at any level.

David is currently completing a degree in Jazz Performance at UIUC in the studio of Professor Chip Stephens, along with a degree in Political Science.  He is also a vocalist in the studio of Dr. Barrington Coleman, and trained classically on piano at the SIU Carbondale campus with Dr. Yuko Kato.
