C4A and the 2015 Boneyard Arts Festival

We’re pleased to announce our activities for the Boneyard Arts Festival coming up on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  Here’s a listing of our featured visual art that will displayed all over the building!

On the ground floor, behind the black door on the left side of the porch:
  • Water colors by Louise Audrieth.  Immerse yourself in her aquatic world of fish and other seafaring life forms. We love knowing that her childhood artistic endeavors were done to a soundtrack of her mom playing piano! Get a taste of Louise’s work here.

  • Photography by Jan Chandler.  Take a visual romp through picturesque Irish landscapes in a series Jan calls “Celticscapes” Jan displays her work along with Celtic-inspired work by other artists at The Vault Arts Collective in Tuscola.

In the downstairs lobby, through the glass door to the right of our porch:
  • Origami by Xudong Guan.  You’ll be thrilled by the exquisitely intricate creations on display, and Xudong will be on site a lot of the day to show you how he works.  You can see more photos of his work here

  • A new display of photos by Tom Faux, showing some of the people you can find around C4A doing what they like to do–interacting around music.
