Tim Ryan

Tim Ryan has been actively involved as an Irish Music performer since 1998. A multi-instrumentalist, he is comfortable with vocals, guitar, harmonica, traditional Irish flute and whistle, bodhran, bones, electronic bagpipes, and harmonium.
 
He has had traditional tin whistle and bodhran instruction at the St. Louis Tionol annual Irish Music Festival from instructors such as Lawrence Nugent, Grey Larson, Bryan Crow, Albert Alfonso, and Chris Weddle. 
 
Tim up in Southwestern Illinois. Before relocating to Urbana in 2018, he performed in an Irish House Band from 2002-2011 at the Castletown Geoghegan Irish Pub in Belleville, IL, and performed in and around the St. Louis metropolitan area for over 20 years.
 
His other musical experiences span multiple genres to include Bluegrass, Folk, Roots, Irish, Americana, Indie, Classic Country and Rock and Blues.
