Raised in Urbana-Champaign, Dimitri Glaros attended Urbana High School, then studied music at the University of Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in music composition. 

A classical pianist who is strongly connected to his roots, he is conversant in Greek and German, and plays several Mediterranean instruments.  Performing with Greek and eastern European music groups, plus exploring folk music of various other traditions, has informed his piano playing. 

With an equal passion for western classical music and traditional folk music Dimitri has a wide palatte for musical expression that he is eager to share in the studio!
