Join the celebration in a day-long immersion in African culture, featuring music, dance, history, cuisine, and a fashion show!

We are still finalizing details (4/28/24) but here is what to expect so far:

10:30 – 11:30 AM Family friendly event at C4A with drumming, a mini-concert, and an instrument petting zoo!  Free admission

1:00-3:00 PM Culture event at Lincoln Square Mall, with open ceremonies, a fashion show, and African cuisine. Free admission. Food available for purchase.

3:00-4:00 PM Drumming and Dance at The Urbana Free Library Free admission

Time and place TBA: Free concert featuring popular African artists.
