Yu-Jung Feng

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Yu-Jung Feng began piano studies at the age of eight.

Yu-Jung is an active soloist, teacher, and collaborator. She has been teaching privately, accompanying, and coaching or leading groups since 2011. Her recital and performance venues include halls in Urbana and San Francisco in the U.S.A; Karlovac in Croatia; Amalfi in Italy; Graz and Salzburg in Austria; and Taiwan.

A prizewinner in several competitions, Yu-Jung most recently won the Illinois Piano Institute concerto competition and performed with Sinfonia da Camera in Foellinger Great Hall at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.

Yu-Jung is currently pursuing a Doctoral of the Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and Literature at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She holds a Master of Music degree in piano performance from San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor of Music degree from National Taiwan Normal University.
