Creative Play & Improvisation

The focus of this camp is improvisation and composition in music, movement, art, and beyond.  

We will explore creativity through different artistic mediums in playful ways through guided movement, music and visual art exercises. Daily themes will thread the various activities, which will be combined at the end of the day into structured improvisations. Although the week will culminate in a final presentation, the purpose of the camp is not to work towards a performance as an end in itself, but to enable students to learn by using the arts in collaborative ways.
