Enjoy the same sense of fun and comraderie that you’d find in our Bow-Dacious String Band but with a focus on classical music repertoire. Our arrangements can be played by less-experienced players and still challenge kids who have been playing for a while.
The day will be divided into group rehearsals, sectionals & technique classes, and additional activities like listening, analysis of music performance videos, score study/note reading or music theory classes.
We’ll perform for family and friends at the end of the week!

Eligibility: For students who play violin, viola, cello, or string bass and have at least one year of school music class experience.
You don’t have to be an expert music reader, but you are expected to at least be familiar with the idea of note reading and ready to learn more! If you’re already a good reader we’ll introduce you to the joys of music theory!
If you’re not sure if you can keep up, or for more information please contact instructor
