COVID-19 Re-opening Protocols

As of May 3, 2021, our building will re-open for onsite in-person teaching. C4A teachers may opt to offer lessons onsite, outside, or remotely.

The following protocols and restrictions apply for onsite lessons:

Instructors are vaccinated.

  • Any instructor teaching onsite will be fully vaccinated for Covid-19, including the 2-week period after the last shot.

Vaccination requirements for students and other visitors:

  • Anyone over the age of 16 who participates in onsite lessons, classes, or ensembles will need to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19, including the 2-week period after the last shot. We reserve the right to ask to see your vaccination card.
  • Children under the age of 16 are not eligible for the vaccine at this time, and are exempt from the required vaccination.
  • Teachers will wear masks during lessons with children.
  • Any adults who enter the building to bring children for lessons must be fully vaccinated. We reserve the right to ask to see your vaccination card.
  • Even if you are fully vaccinated, you must wear your mask in the presence of any child who is not in your family.
  • Please help us limit the number of people in the building by not bringing additional family members and friends to your lesson.

Air purification:

  • Air purifiers will be in use in each teaching area.
  • There will be time between lessons for the air to refresh.

Hand-washing required:

  • All students are required to wash their hands immediately before their lesson. Our bathrooms are well-stocked with soap, paper towels, and reminders about proper hand-washing techniques.
  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout the building; please note that the CDC recommends thorough hand washing over the use of sanitizer.
