We are pleased to offer visual and multimedia arts as a part of our curriculum at the Community Center for the Arts. Our program currently includes group classes for children and adults. Our emphasis is on teaching traditional techniques to develop skill, and encouraging open-ended application for individual expression
Our art classes endeavor to connect the arts with culture and history to create relevance with the whole person: psyche, body, and surrounding world. To realize this goal our classes are often interdisciplinary, drawing from other arts disciplines, “hard” sciences,and other realms.
Multimedia/Digital media includes Animation, Audio, Video, Text and Graphics. Basic computer navigation skills are assumed.
